Smeralda Holding, the company owned by Qatar Holding owner of the most important 5-star tourist assets on the Costa Smeralda, is further expanding the range of restaurants at the Hotel Cala di Volpe for the 2021 season, setting up a partnership with Beefbar, a luxury restaurant brand specialised in meat-based dishes.
The collaboration with the internationally renowned brand is part of the strategy for development and diversification of tourist services through a significant five-year investment programme set up by the Smeralda Holding Group.
Beefbar is not simply an international restaurant chain, with venues from Paris to Tulum, in Mykonos, Athens, Hong Kong and St. Tropez; it is a new way of creating and experiencing food, offering visionary and completely innovative dining experiences. Created by Riccardo Giraudi more than 10 years ago in Monte Carlo, the success of this concept, the aim of which is to offer a wide and prestigious range of the best cuts of meat, has quickly become a huge hit on a global level. As well as produce of the utmost quality, Beefbar also offers a modern and elegant atmosphere and an enchanting style; the perfect ingredients for fully enjoying the international dishes that make up the menu.
The selection of dishes created by Riccardo Giraudi and his executive chef Thierry Paludetto is, in fact, highly varied. Asian gyoza and bao, Mexican quesadillas filled with smoked Kobe beef, tartare of veal and tuna, and ceviche are just some of the delights that can be enjoyed in a sensorial journey characterised by Giraudi’s travels and discoveries. Alongside the traditional recipes and typical street food is the famous and iconic Beefbar duo, consisting in exclusive cuts of imported beef cooked to perfection and served with a creamy purée of potato. For lovers of fresher flavours, there is the Leafbar, offering dishes such as the spicy cabbage salad with avocado, the spinach salad dressed with miso and Manchego cheese, or the Greek Horiatiki salad. Renowned top-quality ingredients accompany diners right up to dessert, a sophisticated soufflé with 70% cocoa and sesame served in a copper dish.
