In spring 2018, Smeralda Holding will open the doors of the prestigious Cervo Tennis &amp; Padel Club of Porto Cervo with the first edition of the <strong><em>Tennis and Padel Courses for Beginners<\/em><\/strong>, completely free of charge for <strong>130 residents<\/strong> from the municipalities of Arzachena and Olbia.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone, regardless of their age, who would like to discover more about these sports, will have the opportunity to learn the rudiments of the games, form the correct way to hold the racket, to the correct positioning on the court, from the most efficient forehand and backhand shots, to the first matches.<br \/>\nFollowing the English courses organised by the <em>Sardinia English Academy<\/em> &#8211; now in its fifth edition, with a total of over 400 people taught &#8211; and the golf courses held at the Pevero Golf Club &#8211; launched for the first time this year, with excellent results in terms of turnout and reception &#8211; the Tennis and Padel Courses for Beginners enrich the wide-ranging programme of initiatives entitled \u201cSmeralda Holding per il Territorio [Smeralda Holding for the Territory]\u201d, through which the company owned by the Qatar Holing Group promotes activities aimed at promoting the growth of the community in which it operates, and at valorising people and their potential.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCarrying out projects in support of the territory and its population<\/em> &#8211; explained Mario Ferraro, CEO of Smeralda Holding &#8211; <em>has always been an essential undertaking for Smeralda Holding.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Over the next few months, we will be following up on the initiatives which have already been successfully implemented, and we will continue to put into practice our proposals for residents with new activities for leisure, sports, and personal development.
